I remember how clumsy it was to try and paint on ceramic. But we were having fun, so it didn't matter.
I went with a black hat and sunglasses, because I was obsessed with spies at the time. I had a love for theatrics, but at the time, I had a speech impediment.
I turned to theater-sports out of speech therapy, which turned into national Shakespeare tournaments during high school. After performing as Edmund Blackadder in a Gisborne production, I left to work and study to be an actor. Between jobs in stage, television, circus and radio, I am currently working out of Auckland, with my latest show "Kura" now available to watch on TVNZ OnDemand.
